Name: Jai Fallon
Born in Austin, Texas 07/08/87
Ethnicity: Persian
I am the product of many blessings from Above. With great parents and nourishing environments, I have been exposed to many cultures and ways of life. I have had the pleasure of being the oldest of 4 beautiful siblings who have taught me responsibility and unconditional love. I graduated high school and college a year early with now possessing my bachelor’s degree in law. My passions are in the following four categories: God, Business, Fashion, and Music. My father is my hero and has given me the propensity for entreprenuership. As of April 2008, I became founder of Azadi Productions, Inc which is a Fashion Public Relations Firm in South Florida.Truly, hard work and God’s blessings have done well for my circle of loved ones and I couldn’t nor will I be able to prosper without acknowledging that.
With regards to the future, I intend on earning my Juris Doctor in law. Ideally that will put me in a position to be the lawyer for my own PR Firm and any other such business I am blessed to undertake.

Walshy Fire
February 12, 2009
Walshy Fires career is punctuated by landmark achievements, and with number one hit makers, Black Chiney (producers of Various Dancehall 1 hits, and several callaborations with Hip Hop/RnB artists, most recently two songs on John Legends next album) there are sure to be many more. Known as the “remix kings” Walshy Fire, Supa Dups, Willie Chin, and Bobby Chin (Black Chiney crew) have fused reggae with hip hop, house and rock n roll. He has played live in front of thousands of people during Belgiums Krak Rock Festival, Guyanas Easter Fest, Torontos Caribana, performing the largest events for Trinidads Carnivaland, as well as Toured japan. But despite his meteoric success, Walsh remains grounded about his achievements and clearly loves making and playing music above the accolades it brings.
Born Leighton Paul Walsh, Walsh is originally from Jamaica and is the younger brother of Cricket legend Courtney Walsh. He became a DJ because of his love to share music with other people. “When I was younger, I’d listen to a radio show in jamaica called “Cyan Sleep” hosted by GT Taylor and would record the dubplates from GT and the guest sounds on the show. Then i moved to miami and would listen to a miami dj name Uncle Al (RIP) where he would talk over a song and change the words to make the song have a whole different meaning. I taped his show and become engulfed in the two worlds of hip hop and dancehall.” Starting out as a co-host to jason walker on georgia states radio while attending Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, he progressed to student parties, and then to three nights a week in a club, learning and perfecting his craft. “Music was always my first love but back then I didnt know it was possible to make a living out of being a DJ “. So after graduating college Walsh got a job with IBM and entered the corporate world. “But that job didnt satisfy me, i missed the mixing elements of being a dj!”. The productions came right after grad school at FAMU, in 2003 when he hooked up with Supa Dups of the world renown Black Chiney sound. “I really wanted to produce music that I could play in my sets, because it brings much more fulfilment to the process. I bought some samplers, some computer programs, and just started working on it. Dups and Willie Chin made it look easy, me and bobby chin made it sound easy”. Black Chineys Productions consistently bother the charts and frequently reach number one around North America and the Islands.
Though known primarily for his pioneering contributions to the Dancehall scene, Walsh’s style is now a mix of everything: dancehall, house, soca, hip hop, RnB, garage, drum n bass – its the best of all that the music world has to offer. “In 1998, I was really a reggae DJ, but now Ive travelled round the world so much, different influences have seeped in and I play a bit of everything. I think the only way forward for DJs now is to play a diverse mix of sounds”. Indeed, his brand of music was always pushing at the constraints of the genre anyway, spine-tingling breakdowns, and euphoric melodies at every end of the spectrum. His productions, sets, and releases range from peak time club heaven to the sort of perfect chill out that bring a woman to tears, and have at times owed as much influence to classical music as to dance.
The many high profile gigs and shows have now taken Walsh away from exclusively playing clubs, and propelled him to become more of a mainstream artist. “Often at my shows now, half of the people are die-hard clubbers, but the other half are people who know me from my radio show on mix 96.1 FM in Miami, or from more mainstream gigs,” he says. “Its more like theyre going to a concert, so now I get a great mix of both worlds”.
Describing the last few years as a journey of defining moments, (as well as the usual club successes, his shelves are groaning under the weight of numerous awards. 2006 Walsh was awarded best reggae radio progam by the Miami New Times.
Some highlights that are his favourites include the first night of the Black Chiney In Concert show in Belgium in 2004: “I was really aware of what was going on, the music was just right a mix of all my big tunes and new tunes, everything just felt perfect that night. Also Would Be Berlin, I played for 4 hours straight, and it was my favourite gig ever”. Walsh is currently testing new sounds in the studio, and writing more vocals himself. “Im not looking for any big collaborations right now, Im more interested in a burgeoning talent someone whose voice is good, and that really touches you. A voice should sound like an instrument to me. Ive had a spell away from the studio, relaxing and travelling, but now Im really enthused about getting back in there. Im more open to doing remixes again. I like to hear a track and right away know what I want to do with it, what I can make different, and whether itll work for me in my sets all my remixes have to be tried and tested”.
The future for Walsh promises yet further success, both as the solo artist hes become and the DJ we know him to be. Another cd, more remixes….? definitely, he agrees, but its hard to look too far into the future. Every couple of months it seems that something new, unexpected and exciting is happening!
